More than a nod to computer science history, the glider is a well-known calling card among hackers—a tiny, shifting pattern that slips across the grid much like a hacker slips through systems. By adopting it as DQOI’s emblem, the project signals its roots in persistence, creativity, and the hacker spirit: simple at first glance, but endlessly alive beneath the surface.
